This was the very first Victoria Holt book I ever read...the one that hooked me on Victoria holt for life!  I'm so delighted to see it back in print!

It's back!  At last!  My favorite, favorite, favorite!  Wanna a great period film?  This one is it!

Based on the book by Elizabeth Gaskell (North and South)...this is a wonderful period adventure!  Such delightful characters!  I love it!  

Love letters entirely intrigue me...an infinitely romantic interlude that has been all but lost in this day and age!  "The Lake House" is the ultimate Love Letter movie and I absolutely adore it!  This is a thinker...a heart-twister...and if you love Keanu and Sandra the way I do...you'll love this!  The ending is beautiful and so totally sigh-invoking!  I love it!

An absolute FAVORITE of mine...especially when it comes to creating a soothing, pleasant ambiance at dinner time!  "In the Moonlight," performed by Sting...is fabulous!  Love it, love it, love it!

I really enjoyed this retelling of a classic fairy tale by Suzanne Weyn! Interestingly enough…The Frog Prince is just about my least favorite fairy tale, but Suzanne Weyn spins it with such creative imagination it’s simply brilliant—especially if you enjoy early 20th century history!

Personally, this is my favorite Marnie L. Pehrson book! And not just because of the chicken scene! I think it’s obvious Marnie put her heart and soul into this book—via her love for history and family—allowing the reader to really dive into the past—drenching you in history and a different time period! (And I love the chicken scene! Yes…it sounds crazy…but I love it! It’s so visually perfect, in my opinion! It makes me want to go out and feed chickens!)
